June

Stop in the season you’re in.

This isn’t easy for me.  In fact, it comes completely unnaturally.  In other words, I have to work at it.  But I keep hearing it in my head, Stop in the season you’re in.  Enjoy it.  Watch it.  Or just close your eyes and breath it in.  But stop.  And know it’s only a season.

Eat outside.

Often.

Learn something new.

Help out and have fun doing it!

 Spend time with each other

Grow

Rest

Have a birthday party!

Never leave anyone out.

Be held.

Remember where you live, embrace hay rides always.

Make friends.

 Get wet.

Perfect

Stay cool.

Love.

I’m working on it. 187 pictures on my camera proves it. I am trying. Although there are days I have to revamp my agenda and focus on what’s real and lasting, as in set down the dirty dishes to play in the sprinkler. Or maybe sweep up the lunch crumbs after we read a chapter in our read aloud, maybe even read more than one chapter because the children are begging to hear more of the story.

Regardless of how it looks it’s time to savor the season God has you in right now.

“So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but understand what the Lord wants you to do.

Ephesians 5:15-17
